I have no idea what the original story was about… Well, now I do,
Is there real justice? A few months back I was talking (bragging really) to some co-workers about my truck (a 94 Nissan) and how its been a good truck. No major breakdowns, 200,000 plus miles, etc. Nowhere did I mention that the truck was a blessing from God. Which it definitely is. I don't remember taking any kind of credit for it, just didn't give God any. Shortly after that I began having some real problems. The first stage began with the cooling system, involved a lot of work and heartache on my part, and ended with a mechanic replacing the alternator for around $500.00. (Because of my mistake.) The second stage was getting new tires. Another $500.00. So all in all I spent over $1,000.00.
Was this some sort of wrath of God moment or am I just superstitiously throwing salt over my shoulder? I don't know. But I do know that it is wrong to pray to God and then not give him credit when you get what you want..
So, what's your story about not giving Him credit where credit is due?
